Opportunities for Rockdale Youth

"Much Torah have I learned from my teachers, more from my peers, and from my students the most of all."— Talmud Makkot 10a

Rockdale Temple offers a variety of exciting, informal, and dynamic programming for our congregation’s youth. The primary goal of our youth groups is to help foster social, spiritual, and educational programming for children between the fifth and twelfth grades. Our diverse programs help to create an atmosphere that is stimulating and conducive to the development of strong positive bonds among our youth, our Temple, and our Jewish tradition. All of our youth activities give the participants the opportunity to develop and deepen their connections to other Jewish youth and to Judaism itself. As a result, our program is designed to educate and develop future Jewish leaders. For more information, please contact the rabbinic intern, Ari Plost, 513-891-9900 (x101).

Junior Youth Groups

Yeshivat Noar (Grades 7-8) offers a meaningful relationship with Judaism through broad based programming of social, educational, and social action activities. Through T.Y.G.R. pre-teens can find their identities as Jews and experience a sense of belonging. T.Y.G.R. also participates in a regional JYG (Junior Youth Group) retreat each year.

Club 456 (club four -fifty-six) (grades 4-6) offers social, educational and social action programming. It's a great place to meet new people, make new friends and do fun things. The Underground is lead by our parents.
