Our Rabbis teach that it is incumbent on each of us to participate in the process of repairing the world. Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) underscores the important responsibility of social justice and mitzvot in the Rockdale community. The Temple has programs that invite members young and old to help in this important work. Our Mitzvah Projects Include:

(Tzur Shalom 6th Grade class participates yearly)

• Outdoor barbeque in July with all Cincinnati Temples and Synagogues

• Congregation K.K. Bene Israel in Kharkiv, Ukraine
• Affiliation with Abayudaya, the Jewish Community of Uganda

• “Passing on the Gift” of animal offspring to end world hunger
