Cincinnati Jewish Artists in the Skirball Museum's Collections
Cincinnati was a major art center in the mid-nineteenth century and several important artists began or made their careers in the Queen City of the West. Among them are John Aubery, Moses Jacob Ezekiel, and Henry Mosler. Works by these artists in the Skirball Museum’s collections will be the topic of this session. The interconnections between these artists and the community’s movers and shakers makes this a true Cincinnati story.
