11:00 AM - 2:00 PMJ
Join Rockdale’s Baby Boomers group for a docent-led tour of Farm to Table: Food and Identity in the Age of Impressionism at the Cincinnati Art Museum on Sunday, July 20. This is a remarkable exhibition that explores the intersections of art, gastronomy, and national identity in late 19th-century France. Featuring more than sixty paintings and sculptures, the exhibition highlights the work of celebrated artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Eva Gonzalès, Victor Gilbert, and Jules Dalou—each offering a unique perspective on France’s evolving relationship with food during this dynamic period.
Cost is $8 for Seniors 65+ and $10 for Adults. There is no cost for Cincinnati Art Museum members. We have reserved several tables in the Museum's newly renovated Terrace Cafe for those interested in gathering for lunch after the tour. If you choose to join for lunch, you'll be responsible for your own bill. Please register by Sunday, July 6.
Additional information about the outing is in the confirmation email.
