Join us for a delightful and creative afternoon with the Rockdale Seniors Group as we explore the art of decorating a hamsa—a traditional symbol of protection and good fortune, often used in Jewish and Middle Eastern cultures.

This fun art activity was inspired by your suggestions, and we’re excited to bring it to life! Jennifer Clark, who teaches at Rockdale’s Kehal Kodesh religious school, will guide us in painting (or using mixed media) to create our own unique hamsa designs. Each hamsa will already be stenciled onto canvas, so you can relax and enjoy the creative process, no matter your experience level.
