She lectures and writes frequently about food, having authored the seminal article “Playing to the Senses: Food as a Performance Medium.” She is famous for her collection of 14,000 books, of which 1,200 are Jewish cookbooks, that reflect the diversity of the Jewish experience.
In addition, we will have heavy appetizers prepared by local women chefs, featuring Suzy DeYoung of La Soupe and Milya Cafe. The appetizers are inspired by the In the Beginning cookbooks. Drinks will be included along with the custom cocktails, "The Joseph Jonas" and the "Rocktail." There will be giveaways and lots of fun! Cost is $10 per person.
