February 3-5, 2023

Join us Friday afternoon, February 3 – Sunday morning, February 5, 2023 for the 8th Annual Rockdale Temple Family Retreat! We'll gather at Hueston Woods (5201 Lodge Rd, College Corner, OH 45003) for an amazing weekend with the Rockdale school community to celebrate Shabbat, learn together, build community, and have lots of fun! 

Please register your family BY DECEMBER 11th. Cost is $50 per person or $200 family maximum (scholarships are available - please speak to Rabbi Binder or Rabbi Kahan). Payment is due as soon as possible following registration to hold your spot. WE CANNOT ACCEPT REGISTRATION AFTER DECEMBER 31st.

All meals, programs, and accommodations are included. We look forward to spending a great weekend together!

The retreat is open to Rockdale families with at least one child enrolled in religious school.

Students 4th grade and up will be allowed to share rooms with their friends this year. You will have the opportunity to note whether that is good for your family and with whom they would want to room (we will do our best to honor requests). For all kids, we will have adult coverage in the hallways after bedtime so that parents can gather as well.

COVID-19 Protocols

Similar to our regular Kehal Kodesh approach, we are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for our community to meaningfully gather over the course of the Family Retreat weekend. Our Jewish values encourage all who are eligible to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including boosters). Our decision to require masking and testing will depending on the local COVID status, which we will determined closer to the retreat. If you or a member of your family aren't feeling well in any way, we ask that you stay home. The retreat will be a mask friendly space - any and all are welcome to mask according to their comfort level.
